Kerb Adaptors

Kerb adaptors are designed to facilitate the flow of stormwater through kerbing and into a channel.  Traditional methods of achieving this often involved casting PVC pipes into kerbing, severely weakening the concrete kerbing.  Inevitably this results in the kerb crumbling and can pose a serious risk to pedestrians.  As a result, kerb adaptors are now commonly used to ensure the integrity of the kerbing, while maintaining a stable path for the drainage of stormwater.

R&S Grating recommend rubber kerb adaptors.  Rubber kerb adaptors not only provide a moulded profile, blending well with all barrier and semi-mountable (SM) type kerbing, but are also significantly stronger than plastic, cast iron and steel fabricated solutions.  Tested to class B of AS3996-2019, kerb adapters sustain a point load of 8 tonne without any permanent deformation to the profile.

Easy to install, rubber kerb adapters offer a cost-effective long term solution for any kerb outlet.
